A multidisciplinary artist renowned for his sculptures, commemorative paintings and graphic novels, Séra is deeply committed to preserving the memory of the Cambodian genocide. Born in Phnom Penh, he was forced to flee his country in April 1975, when the city was taken over by the Khmer Rouge - an exile that has left a lasting mark on his work.

His new exhibition, "April Rains", is steeped in his personal history and pays tribute to the victims of the genocidal regime. It features a selection of paintings produced throughout his career, including the majestic "Le Phnom", as well as the landmark "Yoni" and "Arbre d'Avril" series.
Presented in Phnom Penh, this deeply emotional exhibition takes on an even stronger dimension by returning to the very places where history was made.
