A multidisciplinary artist renowned for his sculptures, commemorative paintings and graphic novels, Séra is deeply committed to preserving the memory of the Cambodian genocide. Born in Phnom Penh, he was forced to flee his country in April 1975, when the city was taken over by the Khmer Rouge - an exile that has left a lasting mark on his work.
